(Health & Place) This study evaluated the association between outdoor air pollution and childhood asthma in Los Angeles. 3114 children's residential areas were linked to air monitoring stations to estimate average pollutant concentrations. Results showed that children living in areas with high levels of O3, PM10, and CO had worse asthma morbidity, even after adjusting for social environment factors.
